Today Apple announced the dates for it’s annual World Wide Developers Conference, an event where Apple has announced a the next generation iPhone without fail for the last number of years.
It’s to be held from June 6th – 10th and passes are on sale for $1599 and judging by previous years demands, expect them to sell out fast.
Now normally Apple announce the latest iPhone and iOS at the WWDC, but this year it seems to be mainly focused on software.
“At this year’s conference we are going to unveil the future of iOS and Mac OS,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “If you are an iOS or Mac OS X software developer, this is the event that you do not want to miss.”
It’ll be interesting to see if the iPhone 5 does make it to the show, but for now schedule in those dates as the possible announcement of the iPhone 5
