France Telecom’s Orange a.k.a the big flop among many people will now be able to sell iPhones in the UKand thus breaking the monopoly of Telefonica O2. Orange reached an agreement today with Apple to be able to sell the product.
Orange is expected to start selling iPhones in UK as from the first week of December as announced a while ago by an Orange spokesman.
It is rumored that Vodafone could be the next one joining the game too. Until now only O2 had the distributive right for Apple’s iPhone in the UK. O2 was able to pass through the recession quite well due to its monopoly of iPhone sales in UK.
